Company in Residence Program

Darebin Arts is piloting a new program, supporting outstanding independent companies with a community-focused practice to be companies in residence with us at Northcote Town Hall Arts Centre.

The first two companies piloting this initiative are PO PO MO CO and the voice in my hands (VIMH)

Each company will join us in the building for nine weeks, focusing on their own growth as a company. While they’re here, they're also offering opportunities for the wider community to work with and learn from them: through a mix of scratch nights, open practice sessions, and skills workshops.

As their residencies approach, we’ll be announcing opportunities for artists of all experience levels to come and get involved. If you’re looking to connect with other artists through a community of practice, this is for you. Newcomers welcome.

To keep up to date on this program, follow us on Instagram, or sign up to the Darebin Arts Speakeasy mailing list here

Their recent works include Lady MacBreast and Flutter and Flounce. The current core ensemble members are Lily Fish, Hallie Goodman and Kimberley Twiner.
