Darebin Arts Centre is Preston’s premier arts venue and the home of choice for artists, creators and innovators in Melbourne’s north.

Darebin Arts Centre acknowledges the Wurundjeri people as the traditional owners and custodians of this land and pays respect to their Elders past, present and emerging. We acknowledge their deep connection to the land, their heritage and culture which includes their Songlines, Storylines, art and creativity.

Our mission is to provide an accessible, affordable and fit-for-purpose arts facility. It offers exciting opportunities for artists to engage with each other, their audiences, and the community. It includes a welcoming, recently renovated foyer and improvements to universal access. Our new bar offers barista coffee, snacks and beverages from local suppliers.

The venue provides a large range of rooms to suit varying event sizes and a fully equipped theatre with seating for up to 380. A large on-site car park adds to the convenience and versatility of this venue.
