Larundel is a series of photographs captured between 2001 to 2005 at the site of the former Larundel Psychiatric Hospital located adjacent to Bundoora Park. The hospital was closed in the late 1990s with most of the buildings being demolished to make way for a new housing estate. Only a few remain today and can be seen from Plenty Road, boarded up and overgrown. It was during this period nearly a decade ago that George Mifsud came upon, and began to document, its remnants.
