Winter Season Artist Talks

Join us for an illuminating afternoon of conversation from the artists showing as a part of our Winter Season.

Artists Katie Paine, Katrin Koenning, Leonie Brialey and Siri Hayes discuss their work showing as a part of, In a restless world like this is. This exhibition takes Siri Hayes’ photographs of Merri Creek, and sees artists respond to the hidden and unhidden aspects of the creek. Additionally, curators Chantelle Mitchell and Jaxon Waterhouse will speak to the work of Anni Hagberg.

Grace Woods’ solo exhibition, Permanent Palimpsest explores the rich history of Bundoora Homestead as both a Convalescent Farm and Repatriation Hospital. Join Grace as she explores the habits formed by people while in these places of respite and care, along with the enduring echoes of our shared local history.
