Speakeasy Scratch Night: The PO PO MO CO Interns present Fragments

A person with dark, short hair and a streak of orange wears a black turtleneck shirt. They look towards the camera in surprise. Around them are blurred profiles of other people.

Join us for a night of showings and celebration.

PO PO MO CO’s inaugural internship participants have been working hard, learning new skills, and remembering to breathe. In Fragments, the interns will perform Physical Theatre scenes and characters they’ve devised over the past two months.

The PO PO MO CO Interns are Liv Bell, Ivy Crago, Mateusz Dawidowski, Lucy Eidelson, HanaIsabel Knight, Mads Lou, Michelle McCowage, Shanu Sobti, Franco SpadeaStrewth! and Willow Wakefield-Tromp

Catch the ending of their internship, and perhaps the beginning of a new Australian Physical Theatre revolution.

This event will be Auslan interpreted.

What is a Scratch Night?

Speakeasy Scratch Nights are a new monthly sharing platform for artists to test out new works-in-development on a live and generous audience of likeminded artists. This is an open access, inclusive, messy, supportive and celebratory space for artists to take risks and connect across the community.

The Speakeasy Scratch Nights are hosted and curated by our Companies in Residence, with different themes and curatorial approaches each time.

Come along to experience live performance experiments and be part of our community of practice or follow us on Instagram to find out how to get involved.
