“Everything in its time, Little Sally. You’re too young to understand it now, but nothing can kill a show like too much exposition.”

“What about a bad title? That could kill a show pretty good.”
Urinetown is a satire set in a dystopian city facing a severe water shortage, where a corrupt corporation charges citizens to use public amenities. Amid this crisis, a hero and his band of eccentric insurgents lead a rebellion for freedom. Praised for its wit, humour, and honesty, Urinetown won Tony Awards for Best Score and Best Book in 2001.
