Kate is the creator and owner of Art Hideaway, an art school located in Northcote. She is passionate about teaching art and inspiring others to explore their creativity. Kate works with a variety of mediums, including watercolor, pastels, fine liners, graphic markers, pencils, charcoal, and clay, and her classes emphasize exploration, play, and creativity.

As a skilled artist with a Fine Art degree (with Honours) and a fully registered, experienced art teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching, Kate brings both expertise and enthusiasm to her work.

Art has always served as both therapy and meditation for Kate. During high school, she was fortunate to have an inspiring art teacher who nurtured her passion and encouraged her to pursue art at university and beyond. Now, Kate seeks to carry on that legacy by inspiring and supporting budding artists and creatives, helping them to flourish and express themselves. She firmly believes that creativity is a valuable life skill that can enhance any life path.
