The voice in my hands (VIMH) is a Darebin-based theatre company focussed on new work development and support for independent artists, led by Co-Artistic Directors Julian Dibley-Hall and Liv Satchell. VIMH is well-known for their community gathering practice, creating open access opportunities where experimentation feels safe and practice is rigorous and inclusive. They were instrumental to Small and Loud, a popular and long-running scratch night that ran in various venues across Melbourne prior to the pandemic.
Elbow Room is an independent theatre company led by Marcel Dorney and Emily Tomlins working on unceded Wurundjeri land in Naarm. Since 2008, they've made eighteen new works on the principle of ‘big questions in small spaces’.
