Bundoora Homestead will be closed 22 Dec – 7 Jan inclusive. Darebin Arts Centre will be closed 21 Dec – 20 Jan inclusive.
In association with Kath Papas Productions & FUSE, Darebin's contemporary, multi-arts festival
Three performers weave an aural and visual journey through a landscape of water and shadow, conjuring unseen worlds with sublime vocals and soaring soundscapes. Drawing on the interlocking rhythms of gamelan, bending pitch and time with water, OF FROGS is a contemporary ritual of human connection and disruption to nature.
"...each musician becomes part of each instrument they encounter, allowing their bodies to become part of the sound making. I lean forward almost out of my seat to watch the water tip, swirl under the gentle hands of a musician." - Megan Steller
