The Main Hall
Seating for up to 300 people.
This is the venue’s largest indoor space. Built in the early 20th century, the historic interior was completed in later decades in the art deco style with plaster sconces and other geometric features. From the arched ceiling hang three unique and fully functioning pendent chandeliers.
Above the partially wood-lined walls to the north of the hall, is the balcony, which was fully renovated and reinforced in 2020 and is often used by sound and lighting technicians to control audio and visual aspects of performances.
The Main Hall is routinely used for a range of theatre, dance, music, and comedy performances as well as markets, seminars and talks. With a capacity for up to 300, it is our most sought-after space.
