Move your body! A creative movement session suitable for all ages and abilities.

Join movement artist and creative therapist Emma in this mini-series of two Creative Movement workshops. Each is a different offering: you can attend both or either one individually.

This series is a playful investigation into our own creative body and its possibility for expression. You will consider breath, visualisation, sensation and embodied ways of connecting to self and other. Through playful warm-ups; solo, partnered and group explorations; and guided improvisations, we will sense, create and move from the inside out.

Engaging our bodies in movement, stillness and reflection, this session invites presence, curiosity, expression and connection — no dance experience needed, just an open body and mind.

Sessions will run for two hours, over which you can expect to be invited to play, to explore, and discover new ways to express yourself through the body, in a supportive space.

All materials provided. We encourage you to wear comfortable clothing that you can move around in!

Bookings are essential.

About The Facilitator

Your facilitator, Emma Fayelecaun, is a movement artist, a professional Creative Arts Therapist, and an educator. She works multimodally with both groups and individuals, supporting personal inquiry through expressive and embodied, creative processes.

Over the years Emma has developed an intersectional practice that uses multimodality as an underpinning to investigate the possibilities and uses of creative expression, and its benefits for both individuals and communities.

Informed by movement practises such as Body Weather, Butoh, meditative embodiment and other improvisation methods, her movement based offerings are intuitive, emergent and accessible to all bodies.
