Tash York - Drop Red Gorgeous

Multiple pictures of a person with big red hair and heavy make-up making silly faces.

Presented by Big Hair Productions

A celebration of Red-haired icons, red-hot vocals and red wine.

Award-winning, wine-loving cabaret queen Tash York is celebrating the iconic redheads who’ve left their mark and she is Drop Red Gorgeous. As the second most famous redhead from Brisbane (and no, Pauline Hanson is not in the show), she channels the spirit of flame-haired legends who’ve inspired her, slayed stages, and stolen spotlights across the decades.

Celebrating 10 years in the industry, Tash brings her signature chaos, comedy and powerhouse vocals to a crimson-soaked tribute. From Adele to Annie Lennox, Bette Midler to David Bowie, Florence (without the Machine) to Ed Sheeran, and even Rihanna (yes, we’re counting that era), no redhead is safe.

Expect outrageous tales, original songs and the kind of unhinged energy only a seasoned redhead can deliver. If Lucille Ball counts as a redhead, then so does Tash!

All served with her trademark glamour on a budget and more red wigs than Queen Elizabeth I (both wear a crown… but only one colonises). Come and see this Cabaret Queen in a celebration of red-haired icons, red-hot vocals and red wine.

WINNER of the Best Overall Cabaret and Variety show at FRINGE WORLD 2026.

Because behind every great redhead is a bottle of Shiraz… and possibly a questionable decision.
