Stamping the Kulin Seasons

Celebrate Poorneet (tadpole) season through collage and stamps, in homage to the Kulin Nations’ weather seasons.

Join multidisciplinary artist Elijah Money at Bundoora Homestead Art Centre to create your own artwork using collage and handmade stamps, paying homage to the local Kulin Nations seasonal calendar.

All materials provided, just bring yourself and your creativity!

Two sessions: one for young people, one for adults

Following a number of enquiries we are excited to announce the morning workshop will be for young people aged 9 - 15 years, and the afternoon workshop will be for adults 18+.

Session 2 (adults 18+): 12pm – 1pm

Please note that for the young people's session, children must be accompanied to the venue by a parent or adult guardian. Parents and guardians can choose to enjoy the free exhibitions in the Bundoora Homestead Art Centre gallery and/or enjoy a drink or something to eat in the onsite cafe, but you must remain onsite throughout. You may stay for the workshop if you wish (no ticket required for parents/guardians); we will leave this to you and your child to decide.

About the artist

ELIJAH MONEY

Elijah Money is a proud Wiradjuri queer brotherboy, raised and residing on Kulin Nations. As a multidisciplinary creative, his work spans visual art, writing, creative producing, workshop facilitator, public speaking and performance. Deeply personal and politically charged, Elijah’s practice reflects his lived experience as a multifaceted individual. His work is grounded in celebrating First Peoples' queer joy and fostering spaces of empowerment. Using storytelling and self-expression, Elijah continues to challenge narratives by using compassion and pride.

Age suitability

The young people's workshop is recommended for ages 9– 15.

You may stay for the workshop if you wish (no ticket required for parents/guardians); we will leave this to you and your child to decide.

60 minutes per workshop.
