Good writing is often high contrast. A little funny in your sad. Odd characters, at odds with one another. A destablising idea in a familiar world, or vice versa.
In this generative workshop, we’ll spend the first half exploring some different avenues for introducing pleasing contradictions and intriguing tensions to your work. Then, we’ll put those techniques to the test, with time to write and discuss as a group. Come with a point of view. Leave with an opposite one.
If you require Auslan Interpretation, please send us an email at writingprojects@darebin.vic.gov.au.
