Darebin Arts Centre is Preston’s premier arts venue and is the home of choice for artists, creators and innovators in Melbourne’s north.

Our mission is to provide an accessible, affordable and fit-for-purpose arts facility. The venue offers exciting opportunities for artists to engage with each other, their audiences, and the community. We have a welcoming foyer including box office service 1hr prior to all ticketed performances, and a licensed bar which also offers barista coffee, snacks, freshly-made popcorn and non-alcoholic beverages from local Darebin suppliers. Our bar now offers cocktails and has recently introduced tap wines, which are delicious and will provide significant reductions in our recycling waste. During the cooler months of 2024 we will also be offering mulled wine to warm the cockles!

Darebin Arts Centre 2024 has kicked off the year with a new live music program, which will continue throughout financial year 2024/25. With recent gigs including Maple Glider, Bart Willoughby with Canisha, Liquid Architecture and Mindy Meng Wang, and a brilliant mix of genres on the horizon, please visit the What's On page of our website and come join us for a night of cutting-edge contemporary music.
