Pinkwashing: Spin me out!

Harding’s exhibition was inspired by an SBS News broadcast in the lead up to the 2018 Gay Pride March in Melbourne, and the 40th Anniversary of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. Juxtaposing images of celebration with archive footage of targeted attacks on people of difference, Pinkwashing examines the unique challenges that still confront LGBTIQ people.
