Preston Symphony Orchestra Youth Concert Competition
Six extraordinary young musicians, aged 9 - 19, compete for an opportunity to play with a full symphony orchestra.

The annual Preston Symphony Orchestra Youth Concerto Competition returns this year, giving six extraordinary young musicians the opportunity to play with a full symphony orchestra. The finalists, aged between 9 and 19 years of age, will each play a concerto movement by Prokofiev, Mendelssohn, Haydn, Dvořák, Chopin, and the American composer, Rebecca Clarke. The conductor is Gerald Keuneman OAM, and the adjudicator, Emma Sullivan. The concert will be compered by Phillip Sametz with the awards presented by City of Darebin councillor, Susanne Newton.
